26th Day : Got Story
It's a very short story about convenient amnesia. Here's the log for the changes I made in the last days:
Day 24:
Made Lisasaurs sprite with 10 expressions
Added Story and I see why one would rather put it all in a single file but that's nuts!
Created the "@chapter" and "@story" commands to make it easy to set future stories and control scenes outside of stories
Day 25:
Changed the missing backgrounds to flat colors (since their names changed)
Renamed the stories (ex: "story_a#" --> "alihouse_a#")
Got the disclaimer to accept an empty name becoming Anonysaur (for mobile devices)
Created the "@if 1 2 3" command that jumps over the following
TODO: DyNo needs a better way to keep track of what happened, like a list of events (instead of DyNo.chapter)
Disclaimer: Properly reset the story when re-starting
Finished another part of the story, closing in on 1/2 Dino-loves
Day 26:
Updated the Lisasaur sprites (that mouth! and they were moving between frames)
Finished the story when the Player whacks Lisasaur awake
Going at around 580 KB.
I plan on reviewing the speech and making graphical editions/backgrounds on the days left.
Oh and if I get time, making that "move" command actually show characters sliding into position would be cool.
